A very good question!!  Hopefully, you've already read our mission statement and seen our equipment, but now you need to believe what we've told you!!  I couldn't think of a better way to convince you than to pick a couple of my favorite customer recommendation and thank you letters and put them here on the website for you to read.

Razz's Story from Mari Bialog in Bohemia, New York

I would recommend Sandbar Equine Transport to all horse people in need of transportation.  In late June of 2004, I was moving to North Carolina to close on my new home.  A week before, my 24 year old horse, Razz, ripped the side of his barrel open.  This injury was a half-inch short of a sucking wound and required 63 stitches and irrigation three times a day.  And Razz is not a good traveler.  I was nervous and worried due to this injury.

Jackie transported my horse, stopping regularly to check on him.  On the way down, my truck broke down in Maryland.  She waited with me for an hour for the tow truck and then drove me to North Carolina as well.

After 14 hours of traveling, Razz stepped off the trailer as if 10 years younger and munched on grass.

I cannot tell you how impressed I was with her professionalism.  I truly believe her genuine love and knowledge of equines is what made the difference.  Thank you again Jackie!

From Donna & Valentine in Old Brookville, New York

Dear Jackie,

This is just a note to thank you for your time and patience with my very opinionated mare Valentine.  She can be particularly difficult when it comes to loading up, and your persistence and patience were the keys to success!

As far as I am concerned, you are the absolute best at trailer training-without question.  I have tried many training methods for many years without success.  Once again, your patience and persistence were the key to persuading Valentine that loading up is a good thing.  Even when she disagrees with you and really gets pushy, or just says "NO", you never lose your cool.  And, as usual, every spring when she needs a tune-up or reminder that the trailer is the place to be for fun in the summer, you make it look so easy.

Anyway, I wish you great success with your business and whole heartedly recommend you to anyone in need of professional patient horse transportation and/or trailer training for their horse.

Thank you again for everything.

Donna & Valentine
